Create a beautiful Travel Sketchbook by recording your experiences, with drawings and hand lettering

This workshop will allow you to entirely dedicate yourself to drawing. In addition, you will be able to share your experiences with other participants

  • I will help you find the right subject to draw and teach you about different ways of choosing an harmonious and well balanced composition for your sketchbook.
  • You will be guided to observe first and then sketch what you see by adding a hint of creativity.
  • The course aims to give you the tools you can use in any situation when you are back home.
  • You will be motivated throughout the course with tips, new ideas and exchanges with the other students (max. 8 people).
  • You will also be more confident with watercolors, understand values and know how to add contrast to your drawings.
  • You will also learn easy ways to add hand lettering to complete your layout.

When you leave the course you will have the keys to go and draw easily in your Travel Sketchbook.

August 2020 workshop: From Tuesday 18th at 6pm until Friday 21st at 5pm

Before the morning sessions, which will start at 10am, early risers can stroll through the pretty alleys of this small town, or along a beach to start a tonic and iodized day.

Then we will draw in different places in this charming little town. We will practice different playful techniques so that you can draw a Travel Sketchbook. The distances between each place are short and will be done by foot.

Each drawing session will begin with explanations and a demo to guide you. It will then be your turn to play, and I will be there to advise you.

After the afternoon session, which will end at about 5/5:30pm you will be free. You can organise a visit of the city or the surrounding area, such as a boat trip to the island of Batz, or a visit to the beautiful Botanical Garden. Or why not offer you a treat at the Roscoff thalasso center.
10% of the profits will be donated to the «Grain de Sel» association/fondation. This association, composed exclusively of volunteers, aims to provide  a less stressful environment for hospitalized children.

This «Drawing Roscoff» workshop will allow you to combine the pleasure of drawing with the pleasure of travelling.
